About Rhodes

Rhodes is the largest island of the Dodecanese archipelago and has a rich past with many historical sights. The mountains, especially in the southwest, are mostly forested with conifers. A nice area for nature lovers in both the summer and winter months.

Rhodes Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the entire Mediterranean region. The city is built on the extreme northern tip of the Greek island with a new part and a medieval part. The Palace of the Grand Masters, the harbor, the center, the sea aquarium of Rhodes, and the Mandraki harbor with the three windmills are some of the main attractions. In the summer months, the capital is pleasantly busy with numerous terraces, taverns, shops, and restaurants.
