About Athens

Athens is usually described as ancient, however the city does not spread the feeling of ‘old’. Besides the monumental buildings which show the classical history at its best, Athens is much more than that and is a very vibrant city.

The most famous monument, the Acropolis, situated on top of the hill in the middle of Athens, is accessible and can be admired from anywhere in the city. Many monuments, ruins, and buildings remind the Greeks of their rich history and culture. And we should not forget about the museums either, which are telling us more about Athens. This city is a perfect mix of classic and modern, containing many restaurants, trendy bars, and traditional meze ‘tavernas’. Discover the flair or Athens!
