About this wheelchair accessible Alberobello and Monopoli tour
This tour brings you from the port of Bari to the charming villages of Alberobello and Monopoli. Together with your officially licensed guide, you discover the beautiful views and sights that Bari’s surroundings have to offer. At the port, you find your guide with a sign with your name on it, and with private adapted vehicle you head out to your first stop: Alberobello.
Alberobello
Discover the beauty of Albarello during this tour. This little town is about a short hour away from Bari, and you will recognize it from far by the iconic whitewashed houses and pointed roofs. These unique houses are listed as the UNESCO heritage site. During your visit of Alberobello there is time to stroll around, snap some holiday shots, or enjoy a coffee or some local food.
Monopoli
After you enjoyed the town of Albarello, you continue towards Monopoli. Here you will explore the Old Town, where you see the old baroque cathedral. The church stands out as an embellished masterpiece amidst the homes and palazzi of the narrow streets. The basilica is located in a “largo” piazza. Its facade rises above the other buildings, flanked by its tall bell tower. A must-visit when visiting Monopoli. Please note that this will be an outside visit.
After you have seen the cathedral and explored Monopoli tour, you go back to the cruise terminal in Bari, where your guide drops you off again to continue your cruise.
