Day 1 – Approx. 8.5 hours

Peterhof

Your two-day city tour of St. Petersburg starts with a city tour with transport, which includes a short stop at a Russian food market. After the city tour, your driver and your guide take you to Peterhof for a guided tour of the Upper Gardens and Lower Fountain Park. In the Park you can admire the most beautiful fountains: The Grand Cascade, The Chessboard Hill Cascade, the Sea Canal flanked by 22 marble basins, the joke fountains, and many more. After that, there is time to have lunch (not included). Your guide will advise the best places for you to eat.

Alexandria Park

In the afternoon, you continue to Alexandra Park, near the Fountain Park, for an inside guided tour. Alexandria Park is a massive landscape in the English style that was formed in the 19th century. The palace is named after Alexandra Fedorovna, the wife of Nicolas I. The Cottage Palace, one of the palaces in the Park, was built as an intimate space for Alexandra and her family. Furthermore, Alexandria is a beautiful place for families. There are various playgrounds, festivals, interactive programs, historical reconstructions, and plenty of opportunities for walking/rolling around one of the most beautiful parks of Russia.

Alexandria Park is your last visit of the first day of sightseeing. After you have wandered through the palace, your guide takes you back to the city and drops you off at your accommodation or the cruise port.

Day 2 -Approx. 9 hours

Hermitage museum

This morning your tour starts with a private guided tour at the world-famous Hermitage museum. The state of Hermitage is one of the oldest and largest museums in the world, with around three million works of art. This museum is equipped with electronic widened elevators and wheelchair accessible bathrooms.

The Church of spilled blood

Next, you visit the Church of spilled blood, built-in memory of Alexander ll, and known for its striking color combinations. The Church took 24 years to construct and has one of the largest mosaic collections in Europe.

After visiting the Church of spilled blood, it is time for lunch (not included). After lunch, your tour continues with a stroll along the Nevsky prospect, the main street of St. Petersburg. It is located in a fully wheelchair accessible zone. The road is over 4 kilometers (2,5 mile) long and has several cultural attractions along the way. Wander around and soak up the vibes of the city.

St. Isaac’s Cathedral

To end your time in St. Petersburg, you enjoy an inside tour through the St. Isaac’s Cathedral. The St. Isaac Cathedral is a beautiful cathedral that you recognize by its prominent dome. If you think the exterior of the Church is impressive, the inside will surprise you even more. The interior is a must-see for design-lovers. The St. Isaac’s Cathedral is equipped with an elevator that allows you to visit the Colonnade and enjoy the beautiful panoramic 360-degree view of the city at the height of a dazzling 37 meters.

Kindly note that if for some reason the elevator is not working, as they can have unexpected maintenance, there is no other wheelchair accessible way to the colonnade, and in that case only the inside visit of the cathedral will be possible to visit.

After St. Isaac’s Cathedral, your two-day trip through St. Petersburg comes to an end, and your guide and driver bring you back to your accommodation or the cruise port.

VISA information for cruise passengers

For cruise passengers arriving at St. Petersburg port, since you are traveling without visas stamped in your passport, you have to be accompanied by your guide everywhere.

You have to show your printed Tour Tickets (blanket visas) and your passport to the customs officers. Without these documents, you will not be able to enter the museums in St. Petersburg. When this occurs, no refund is possible.

When booking a tour and while being under guidance, you do not need an individual visa. The tour-tickets are sufficient and are emailed before your tour date. You need to show this upon entry, together with your passport.
