About this wheelchair accessible tour to Alberobello and Polignano

This tour brings you to the beautiful surroundings of Bari. Once you dock at the cruise terminal, your officially licensed English speaking guide awaits you with a sign with your name on it. With private adapted vehicle, together you head towards Alberobello and Polignano on a scenic drive.

Alberobello

Your first stop is the enchanting town of Alberobello. Alberobello is very famous for its iconic whitewashed houses and straw roofing that are shaped in a point, 1500 in total and a UNESCO world heritage site. These are the so-called Trulli houses.  When you arrive in the center your guide will explain the history behind these unique buildings, and there is time to stroll around over the big square, buy some souvenirs, or enjoy a coffee or a local snack.

Polignano

Next up is Polignano. Polignano is a captivating coastal town based at the point of a cliff that treats you on gorgeous views of the ocean and the coast. In this town, you find lovely small (pebbled!) beaches and a stunning little cove at the cliff’s bottom. During the tour through the center, your guide will advise you where to try a ‘caffè speciale’ or a ‘gelato.’ Something this town is famous for, even beyond Italian borders.

At the end of the tour, your will head back to Bari. Your driver and your guide will drop you at the cruise terminal so you can enjoy the rest of your cruise and holiday.
