Accessibility note

To go up to Acropolis as a wheelchair user you have to use the chairlift to the elevator that takes you to the site. Check the images below to see how it looks. The facility is not available during extreme weather conditions and strong winds.
The lift to the Acropolis is only allowed with manual wheelchairs. We will arrange a manual wheelchair, and can assist with the transfer from the wheelchair to the manual one.
The site of the Acropolis Hill is uneven and rocky, and therefore not always easy to maneuver around. We can arrange a pusher if preferred.

See all the important highlights of Athens during this day. This tour will come with an official licensed guide who picks you up at the cruise port or accommodation. You find him by the sign he holds with your name on it. Once seated comfortably, your Full Day Athens and Acropolis Tour begins.

This day tour checks all the highlights of the beautiful city of Athens. A combination of a worldly metropolis, and at the same time home to the heritage of the classical era. One of the first stops will be the Panathenaic Stadium. Built-in 1896 for the first modern Olympics, and the only stadium in the world made entirely of marble. Other sites you will visit near the Stadium, are The National Garden and Acropolis Hill.

Athens represents a wide variety of monuments. The most famous of all being the Parthenon. It also houses two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Acropolis of Athens and the Daphni Monastery. Go 2,500 years back in time to the heydays of the ancient Greeks. A time when a visit to the Acropolis was seen as a visit to the sanctuary of the Gods.

Your tour continues towards the Greek Parliament. And located below: the Unknown Soldier Monument. Placed in honor of the soldiers who gave their lives to defend the nation and her freedoms.

Extra stops include the National Garden, and Erechtheion, the ancient temple on the north side of the Acropolis. Dedicated to Athena and Poseidon.

Full day tour

The full-day tour continues where the half-day tour ends. You will be taken to the National Archaeological Museum and the New Acropolis Museum. The Acropolis Museum shows artifacts related to the Acropolis site. And is one of the greatest museums in the world. Find relics from all over Greece, a collection that includes more than 20.000 exhibits.

Afterward, your guide takes you to Plaka. One of the most charming neighborhoods and almost a separate village in the city of Athens. The final stop will be the square of Monastiraki.

At the end of the day, your driver drops you off at the cruise port again.
