Film locations

The Leaky Cauldron

The Leaky Cauldron was a popular Harry Potter pub and inn for wizards in London.  The pub serves as a gateway to Diagon Alley and indirectly Knockturn Alley. Furthermore, at the rear of the pub was a chilly courtyard that contains the entrance to both alleyways.

Diagon Alley

In the series of Harry Potter, Diagon Alley is a shopping street for magicians in London. A place where the wizard students can buy everything they need, such as boilers, owls, brooms, goose feathers, ink, and parchment. During the tour, you visit this magical alley.

The third Hand Book Shop

In this street, you find the third Hand Book Shop, a widely used bookstore at Borough Market. Nowadays, this book shop is the Market Porter Pub. The authentic and rustic interior of the pub will charm every visitor or magician. However, in the world of Harry Potter, it was the location where Harry would meet his future professor: Gilderoy Lockhart. The bookstore is specialized in old and rare books, first editions, and maps.

Platform 9 ¾

You continue the tour with a visit of the well-known platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross station, where the young wizard disappears. In the series, this is the secret entrance to the famous Hogwarts Express for wizards around the world. Your driver guide will tell you everything about Harry Potter and the filming sites, and there is plenty of time for stops and to take pictures.

The Ministry of magic

Your last stop of this tour is the Ministry of magic, which is located on Whitehall, a road in Westminster. In the series, Whitehall is the site of various Muggle government bureaus and ministries.

After the tour, your driver guide brings you back to your accommodation or wherever you prefer, in central London. Now you know even more about harry potter than you already did!
