About this wheelchair accessible highlights and coastal tour of Gothenburg

Join us for a magical tour of the Highlights of Gothenburg, and its amazing coast, together with your private guide, and with private adapted transport. You meet your guide directly at the cruise port, or he will pick you up from your city center hotel. The order of the visits may change, due to local traffic conditions.

The Old City

Together with your guide, you explore the charming Old Town of Gothenburg. He will tell you all the ins and outs of this city. Do not miss one of the main sights of Gothenburg, the Crown House, or as locals call it: “Kronhuset”. It is the oldest standing profane building in the city. The Crown House once served as the stage where Gothenburg almost got chosen as Scandinavia’s capital.

Haga

Another notable area in the old town is the district of Haga. The oldest part of Gothenburg. A lovely neighborhood where you find great bars and restaurants, or local boutiques with the perfect souvenir to take home. Stroll through the old streets and learn all about the Swedish ‘Fika’ (coffee break), and try it yourself with one of the local delicacies.

The Swedish coast

After exploring the Old Town, your Gothenburg’s Coast and City tour continues to the Swedish coast. Here you will have time for lunch (not included), and your guide will show you the amazing views of the archipelago as well as the typical Swedish coastal fishing huts. Moreover, you visit the (partially accessible) gardens of the Gunnebo Castle, commissioned by one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

Once you have seen the lovely fisherman’s houses and enjoyed your lunch, your guide and your driver take you back to the cruise port or your hotel.
