This tour takes approximately 1.5 hours driving, and the remaining period is a strolling tour passing the various highlights. You get to see sights as the Customs, the Rectorate, the Bank of Spain, and the City Council. Furthermore, you visit the Plaza del General Torrijos, which is also known as ‘the fountain of the Three Graces’. And obviously you see the famous Bullring of the Malagueta, the Palace of Justice, and the English Cemetery.

During your trip to Málaga, it is certainly worth taking a look at Plaza de Toros. Unlike many other provinces of Spain, bullfighting is still legal in Málaga. From April to September, there are regular bullfights. The most spectacular one is the Feria de Málaga (the city’s festival week) in August. During that week, they organize daily fights in the Plaza de Toros. Besides bullfights, there are also various concerts in this Plaza de Toros of Malaga.

Your highlights of Málaga and a visit to Mijas tour continues uphill to the Arab Castle of Gibralfaro for an amazing view over Málaga. After this stop you continue towards Plaza de la Merced, Sanctuary of Our Lady of Victory, Avenida Cervantes, and the Town Hall. Plaza de la Merced is where you find the funerary monument. Close by is the General Torrijos, the house where Pablo Picasso was born. You also get to see the church of Santiago, where he was baptized. Then you proceed to the Roman theater of Malaga and the exterior walls of the Arab Palace of Málaga. The Alcazaba, cathedral of the city, and lastly, we stop at the Plaza de la Constitucion.

Mijas

After visiting all the characteristics and highlights of Málaga, your driver-guide takes you to Mijas. A gorgeous little village with picturesque white houses. When you arrive there, you have some free time to stroll around and take some pictures or have a quick coffee or drink.
