About this wheelchair accessible tapas tour in Barcelona

Our three hours during accessible tapas tour in Barcelona is not only designed for food lovers. Anyone visiting the city would love this delicious tour. Your journey starts with a tasting of different kinds of olive oils in the cozy Born district. Your tastebuds will have the time of their lives, and so will you!

You will visit a couple of the local cafes where you enjoy some of the country’s most authentic tapas. Think of the famous Spanish omelet ‘tortilla,’ or the Spanish fries ‘patatas bravas.’ Also worth trying are the small peppers ‘pimientos de padrón’, and the variety of cured hams. Cured ham is a delicacy that deserves some attention. To finish your menu, you taste Crema Catalana. A delicious local dessert made with vanilla cream and a layer of caramel on top. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to try some original local wines, Vermouth, and Spanish sparkling wine, known as Cava. Cava is originally from the Catalonia region, so you will try the best of the best!

Borne area

This tour takes place in the cozy Borne area, in the Old Town. Before or after your tour, you can chose to browse some of the local shops. Find the bargains of the day and local artisanal goods as a souvenir from your time in Barcelona. The city is filled with, for example, vintage and second-hand stores which offer reasonable prices. You also have the traditional souvenir shops. With such a large selection of shops, every visitor can find something to his or her liking from local products and handmade items, to the trendiest fashion items and typical souvenirs. Ask your guide for some local insights.

Your guide will be at your disposal for the full length of the tour. He or she is from the area and knows where to find the hidden gems. Do not hesitate to ask your guide for directions about where to eat or where to go in the evening for a sangria with sea view. They know their way around. Discover this and much more!
