The moment we cross the border of Cork and head into Kerry, you will be treated to the spectacular scenery that Ireland is known for. The landscape changes almost immediately the moment we leave Cork. The picturesque drive to Kenmare takes approx 1h45 and passes one of the most unspoiled and natural environments in Europe. A unique chance to enjoy empty roads, no traffic pollution, and fresh mountain air.
County Kerry is the perfect place to clear your mind while enjoying the calmness of Kenmare. Kenmare is located at the head of Kenmare Bay and is surrounded by striking mountains. The original Irish name is ‘Neidin’, which means ‘little nest.’
You will pass colorful houses with breathtaking glimpses of mountains and green landscapes. While walking/rolling, you enjoy the views of this fascinating country town.
