There are more than 200 trees, plants, and flowers planted to represent the local flora in the garden. It is divided into zones, and each zone has flora from different places in and around the park.

There is also a Geological park where you can see other rocks and read about the characteristics and history over millions of years. While you stroll around this park, look in the distance and appreciate the outline of the mountains and the clear lake beneath it.

Lovatnet

After the visit to Josteldalbreen, your panoramic drive continues to Lovatnet. Lovatnet is one of the most mesmerizing lakes in Norway. The green color is so bright that it almost seems unreal. The experience does not diminish, whether you look at the lake from a boat or the shore.

You will hear more about the history of settlements taken by one of the worst natural disasters in Norwegian history. It dates back to 1905 and 1936. Both times were hard for the Norwegians since they had to start again, but the present results were spectacular.

At the end of the tour, your driver-guide will take you back to the cruise port in Olden.
