About this wheelchair accessible Capri tour

During the tour, you will explore a charming small island located in the Gulf of Naples, easily reached by ferry from Naples in approximately one hour.

To get around the island, you will have a private driver with an adapted vehicle who will show you the main highlights and the most important viewpoints.

The island has two towns: Capri and Anacapri. Marina Grande is the gateway to the island and the place where you arrive by ferry.

Anacapri

Anacapri is the highest point on the island, and in the past, it was connected to the port only by a long flight of steps that still exists today.

During your panoramic tour, you will drive up to the famous Phoenician Steps (Scala Fenicia), located just below the sphinx of Villa San Michele. Please note that the villa itself is not accessible due to stairs and ladders.

The center of Anacapri is rich in historical and cultural sites, most of which are located in the old town, a mainly pedestrian-only area.

The next stop is one of the most stunning churches on the island (Chiesa di San Michele), where you can admire the famous floor, representing the Garden of Eden. This church is all on one level.

Afterwards, you will visit the Carthusia (Certosa di San Giacomo), and then continue to the beautiful viewpoint of Punta Tragara, from where you can admire the iconic Faraglioni rocks.

Capri town center

The second part of the tour focuses on Capri town, where you will have time for a stroll along Capri’s main shopping street, Via Camerelle, home to luxury brands such as Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, and others. This street is located in the heart of Capri.

Here you will also find Capri’s most famous square, the Piazzetta, the popular nickname for Piazza Umberto I, where you can enjoy the lively atmosphere.

During the tour, you will pass in front of the iconic Hotel Quisisana before heading back to the port of Capri.

*Tickets to the ferry included
**Adapted vehicle at your disposal in Capri for 4 hours

Accessibility note:
Accessibility on the island is quite challenging without an adapted vehicle.
Capri is very hilly, and you will encounter many steps, especially when reaching Anacapri, the highest point of the island.

The main tourist streets in the centers of Capri town and Anacapri, such as Via Camerelle, are pedestrian-only. These areas are mostly flat and paved; however, vehicles are not permitted, which may limit access.

Please keep in mind that throughout the island, you may come across cobblestones, uneven terrain, and occasional steps.
