La Laguna
With its 125,000 inhabitants, La Laguna is the second-largest city in Tenerife. It used to be the capital of Tenerife, however, today the capital is Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Although La Laguna is physically connected to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it still has its own identity. La Laguna is known for its unique heritage, and the old university contributes to that character. The architecture is in Renaissance style and colonial buildings.
The list of sights for La Laguna seems almost endless. What you should not miss is the following: Iglesia de la Conception, the wheelchair accessible Cathedral of La Laguna. Furthermore, the old city center is a must-visit. Other attractions in La Laguna are the many local bars, plazas, and the dreamlike houses scattered throughout the city with amazing wooden balconies.

Teide Park
The next stop on your La Laguna and Teide Park tour is Teide Park. You get there via a long panoramic road with dramatic views over the island. Teide national park is truly a unique place that you have to visit if you are a nature-lover. Discover landscapes that seem to come from another planet. You breathe the pure air from the highest peak in Spain. You walk/roll between volcanic lava, which will make you feel tiny in this exciting environment that has been declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
At the park, several adapted paths are accessible for wheelchair users. You will get some time to wander around with your guide (optional). Take in your beautiful surroundings, snap some pictures, and breathe the fresh air.
