About this wheelchair accessible Vigo and surroundings tour

Discover Vigo and its surroundings together with us during this eight hours tour. To see all the magnificent sights this area offers, you have to cross the border to Portugal. Be assured; you will see the best of both worlds. After disembarking your cruise ship, you will find your driver guide by the sign he is holding at the pier. He will help you get into the private adapted transport using a rear ramp. Once everyone is seated, you are good to go.

The first stop of this tour is Tuí, where you see the Cathedral. This imposing Romanesque building dates back from 1120 and has beautiful gardens. Once you have taken your time to discover the church, you cross the river and border to Valença in Portugal. At this place, you bring a visit to the fortress which is built strategically so you will have gorgeous views over the river and Spain.

During your tour, your guide will show you places where you can have a nice lunch. The lunch is not included in the price and has to be paid on the day of your tour.

Vila Nova de Cerveira

The next stop is the castle Vila Nova de Cerveira. It is situated on a hill in a lovely town where you see more magnificent views of Spain and the northern side of the river. After the castle, you head back to Spain to see the Santa Tecla Mountain in La Guardia with its breathtakingly stunning landscapes. Your tour continuous further along the river to see the famous regattas starting point in Baiona. When you come at the right moment, you might even be lucky to see a sailing game!

The last stop of your tour is Oiã, where you find the special Cistercian monastery. What makes this monastery so unique is its privileged location. The abbey is located in the middle of a charming village and overlooks the Atlantic ocean. After you have soaked up your surroundings and have taken your photo’s, your guide brings you back to Vigo to your cruise ship.
