Your wheelchair accessible tour starts with a pickup by your English-speaking guide, who will meet you at your accommodation or cruise port with a private adapted vehicle. The vehicle has rear ramp access so that you can remain seated in your wheelchair during the tour. Once you are comfortable, the tour starts with a short ride to Valencia city.
This 2-in-1 wheelchair accessible guided tour combines a panoramic drive and walking parts visiting the most Avant-guard Valencia. Followed by a short trip to beautiful Albufera National Park.
During the first part of the tour, you visit the City of Arts and Sciences, the Prince Felipe Museum of Sciences, the Hemispheric, the Umbracle, the Agora, and the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia. These are all outside visits. You will walk/roll between the various buildings while your guide explains about the complex, the architect, design, various materials and what the réal meaning is of each building. Some great photo opportunies guaranteed!
The second part of this tour consists of a panoramic drive to Albufera National Park, which is located only 15-20 minutes from Valencia. This fascinating area still holds ancient fishing and sailing traditions. Which only takes place there. Besides these practices, this area is one of the most important places for birdwatching in Spain, as there are more than 350 species of birds in the area.
During this second part, you visit the authentic old town of Palmar, where you see authentic Barraca Houses (traditional houses). This is the place where you can enjoy a lovely boat ride (optional, not accessible) through the rice fields of this unique environment.
At the end of the tour, your guide brings you back to the place where you met for the first time.
You have the option to extend this tour to 6 hours and include a typical Traditional Valencia Paella Lunch. Enjoy the paella made from freshly caught fish at a family-owned restaurant, known for having the best Paella in Spain.
