Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation or directly from the cruise port. The port of Cádiz is situated in the center of town, so your rolling tour through Cádiz starts directly from there.
On this accessible walking / rolling tour of Cadiz, there are many historical sights to discover. One of the first stop is Plaza de San Juan de Dios. This is the main historical square of the city. It contains a lot of the cities’ history which the guide will tell you all about. There is the City Hall, the church of San Juan de Dios, and the House of the Miranda Pazos. The Plaza is flat and smooth so fully accessible for wheelchair users.
Next you head to the square in front of the impressive Catedral of Cádiz. The Cathedral is an 18th-century masterpiece and a mix of architectural styles. The surface of the square is mainly flat, but there are some mild cobblestones now and then. The Cathedral is accessible via a specially installed ramp at the entrance. Not far from the Cathedral, you have another church called the Iglesia de Santiago. You will admire this building from the outside and the guide will tell you a bit about its rich history.

Another highlight of this tour is Plaza de las Flores or the Flower Square. It is a popular urban area characterized by colorful flower stalls that occupy the central area. At the square, you will also see the exterior of the Edificio de Correos (Post Office). It is made out of brick and decorated with colorful elements. Plaza de las Flores is mostly flat, but some areas have mild to moderate cobblestones. There are no steps or hilly areas.
Then you make your way to the Casa Palacio Moreno de Mora. This is a 19th-century palace filled with antiques. You continue passing various little squares as Plaza San Antonio and Plaza España. Do not miss Plaza de la Candelaria, one of the hidden gems of the city! And on your way back, your guide will make sure to stop at the Museo Arqueológico y Fine Arts.
At the end of the day, she will take you back to your hotel or cruise port again.
